Latino Victory Fund Endorses Christina Hale for Congress
If elected, Hale would be the first Latino/a elected to Congress from Indiana.
Washington, D.C.-- Latino Victory Fund announced the endorsement of Christina Hale for Indiana’s 5th Congressional District. If elected, Hale would become the first Latino/a elected to Congress in Indiana.
Latino Victory Fund Executive Director Mayra Macías issued the following statement:
“Latino Victory is beyond thrilled to endorse Christina Hale for Congress. Hale has the drive and vision that we need from our elected officials. She has worked hard her entire life, first as a single mother who worked to pay her way through college and then as a public servant working to ensure that families in Indiana have a better life. Congress needs more leaders like Hale, who will work to protect access to affordable health care, create an economy that works for all Hoosiers and our nation, and who will fight to safeguard our environment. Latino Victory is proud to stand with Hale in her history-making bid for Congress, and to make sure that the U.S. House of Representatives gets to have one more Latina leader in its halls.”
