HOW TO VOTE FOR CHRISTINA HALE

Hoosiers can vote for Christina Hale in the general election early in person, by mail, or on Election Day, November 3rd. We encourage you to vote early in person, or for eligible Hoosiers to vote by absentee ballot.

Register to Vote

Hoosiers have until October 5, 2020 to register to vote in this election. You can register online at indianavoters.com if you have a driver's license, or print out an application and return to your county clerk.

Vote Early in Person

Voters who have not requested an absentee ballot may vote early in person at the County Clerk’s office from October 6, 2020 through noon on November 2, 2020. Additional satellite locations vary by county. To look up early voting locations and hours, please check indianavoters.com.

Anyone who votes early in person must bring a valid photo ID.

Vote by Mail

Voters may request an absentee-by-mail ballot if they meet one of the excuses below. Applications must be received by your county election board by October 22, 2020 at 11:59PM.

  1. You have a specific, reasonable expectation that you will be absent from the county on Election Day during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open (6 am to 6 pm).
  2. You have a disability.
  3. You are at least 65 years of age.
  4. You will have official election duties outside of your precinct.
  5. You are scheduled to work at your regular place of employment during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open.
  6. You will be confined due to illness or injury or you will be caring for an individual confined due to illness or injury during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open.
  7. You are prevented from voting because of a religious discipline or religious holiday during the entire 12 hours that the polls are open.
  8. You are a member of the military or a public safety officer.
  9. You are eligible to vote at a precinct or former residence under a fail safe procedure in IC 3-10-11 or IC 3-10-12.
  10. You are a “serious sex offender.”
  11. You are prevented from voting due to the unavailability of transportation to the polls.

If you have applied for and received your absentee ballot, fill it out, vote for Christina and mail it back. All ballots must be received by your county clerk by noon on November 3, 2020, so we recommend voters mail their ballots back as soon as possible to ensure that it is received on time.

Voters who have received a ballot in the mail and are concerned their ballot will not be received in time can surrender their absentee ballot and vote in person. To look up your polling place and voting hours, please check indianavoters.com.

If you requested an absentee ballot but it did not arrive, you can vote in person. You will have to sign an affidavit saying you never received the ballot.
